Gejigeji - a further version of the painting.
Here (48kb .exe file) is a further version if the Gejigeji painting/demo. Kjell, in the ZGE forums, suggested using a solid mesh for the 'legs' of the sculpture, and kindly created a demo of a simple way to code it. This you find here. I reworked the whole thing several times, tweaking the rendering, colors, motion, and sculpture generation system. In doing so I came up with a bunch more ideas and ran various test, creating several new paintings or proto-designs that will appear here eventually.

Gejigeji - generative art ( .scr )

Gejigeji is the japanese name for those soft shelled house centapedes. They keep me company, when working down in the dungon. Ville added a simple way to build iterated mesh structures in ZGameEditor, as I was testing this out I built this motion graphic demo,. and then added a little sound track to it for fun.
THIS [47kb] is a screensaver (.scr file) that genereates this lightpainting endlessly.
and THIS [46kb] is an executable (.exe file) file that does the same visual, but adds some generated drone style music.
I may use this for a game background or a simplified ver. for an object in a game,. . for now it is a simple screensaver for your enjoyment.

Videogame Development Blog
Here is a blog about my videogame development activities. I am currently working with a great free opensource game dev. tool called the ZGameEditor. [ ZGameEditor.org ] It creates tinny .exe files (or .scr) for Windows machines to run, as well as building executable files for OS X and Linux,. although I rarely post these as I have no way to test them. Drop me a line if you want to help get these programs running on those systems. My main site can be found at iterationGAMES.com
