Nothing will bring out what is required faster than to let the people choose what to fund.

Currently the 0.1% choose how resources in our world are used and distributed, sadly they only pursue more power and wealth for themselves. Needless pain and suffering are everywhere, all could be alleviated by shifting control from the few to the many.

Currently society collects TAXs and hands this wealth to the corporate military dominated government system. Funding endless war and extraction plunder while infrastructure crumbles and people don't even have safe water to drink, health care, in some cases even food or shelter. Is this what we really want? Does this system represent the will of the people? Polling numbers prove that it does not, so why does it still persist?

But the world does not owe you anything, you say? Danm right it does, I was born here, I have just as much right to the resources of this planet as any other of you hairless monkeys,. so does every one of us.

If suffering is your goal, then by all means, continue with this corporate hoarder 1% wealth siphon system that is consuming resources to make a few very powerful,. instead of building up wealth throughout the world while repairing and improving on the natural systems that sustain all life. Degrowth of the destructive passe segments of the system, build sustainable Permaculture style communities and systems.

It really is a simple choice, as Bill Hicks tells us,. you choose between Love and Fear. Choose fear and spend more than half of the nations resources to continue invading and occupying foreign lands, in the name of corporate control,. as this has little to do with security. Security comes from a peaceful society helping it's neighbors, not bombs and hatred of "other".

As a BASIC income is distributed to all people, they will utilize it in their communities, providing a buffering function to the economy, a base line of guarantied activity, focused on necessities, in place of needless suffering the war-monger corporate banker economy currently produces.

But if you pay people for nothing they will not work! Some wont,. as many don't now. But most will work same as always, but with a more secure situation. If we set the hypothetical INCOME at 20k that is well less than many would be willing to live on so these will want to bring in something on top of that. While to others this will be a step up, enabling them to move into an apartment or perhaps even build a tinny home.

It is simple, cut military spending in half,. or even better by 100%. Standing armies are an inherent evil. Corporate controlled ones, that endlessly leach wealth from the people to the point of starvation and homelessness, are the height of insanity.

Love or Hate the choice is yours.
